Free Pass

Magnum’s dad has, like most married men, a free pass on fidelity – under extreme circumstances. If he ever has the opportunity, Magnum’s dad can sleep with Jane Seymour and Magnum’s mom won’t mind. (theoretically)

Yes, star of Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman; Somewhere in Time; and Bond girl, Solitaire, opposite Roger Moore in Live and Let Die – is Magnum’s dad’s Free Pass.

Therefore, The Lawrence Office posed the question to each other – who’s your JaneSeymour?

Magnum: maybe Jane Seymour is my JaneSeymour. I mean, she’s pretty foxy. However, I'm going to have to go with one Neil Patrick Harris on this one. When God created the word "dreamtastic", he did so with NPH in mind. When we were children, Doogie Howser made us want to play doctor all day. Now that we are adults, we have the trustworthiness, punctuality and overall awesomeness of Barney Stinson to make us melt. Let's be honest. My pants fall down a little bit every time he comes into view. David Burtka better watch out, son. Magnum is not one to go gently into this good night when it comes to her dream man.

k$:
Tim Allen is my JaneSeymour. The main appeal of this Tool Man is his position as a hometown hero. Have you heard his angelic voice in the “Pure Michigan” ads? “Pull out that sweater” he tells me and all I want to do is take it off. An added bonus is that he has a direct connection to the object of every little girl's dreams in the early 90s - JTT. For those among us who find themselves attracted to the simpler life, how can we forget the gem that is “For Richer of Poorer”? We’ll skim over “Galaxy Quest”, we all have out low points. Tim Allen, I’d love to make you grunt any day.

j-peg:
Jason Statham is my JaneSeymour. I saw Snatch and endured Crank and railed with friends about why he doesn’t get better work. When it comes down to it – I don’t want to be responsible for explaining what may or may not happen if the opportunity presents itself. Let’s just say that I get ideas about Jason Statham and no one is going to bring it up to my fiancĂ©e. Thanks. Meanwhile, the future Mr. j-peg does know about my fictional relationship with Christopher Meloni and discusses ways to bring him - as Det. Stabler - into my life.

So, comrades - what do you think? Do you have a JaneSeymour? tweet that hottie @LawrenceOffice.
